Friday Feb 14 Meeting: Carbon Sequestration

Our presentation for February 14, 1-2:30 PM, 2020 will be a presentation by Dr, Tom Mikus on the topic of Carbon Sequestration.   Carbon sequestration describes long-term storage of carbon dioxide or other forms of carbon to mitigate global warming and avoid climate change impact. While this meeting is more generally a presentation rather than a discussion, you can still prepare for learning about the topic by visiting and exploring the website www.co2captureproject.org . Tom is retired from Shell Oil and has been involved with The Joint Industry Task Force formed a Drafting Committee to the Carbon Capture and Geological Storage Emission Reduction Project Family.
