Friday Feb 14 Meeting: Carbon Sequestration
Our presentation for February 14, 1-2:30 PM, 2020 will be a presentation by Dr, Tom Mikus on the topic of Carbon Sequestration. Carbon sequestration describes long-term storage of carbon dioxide or other forms of carbon to mitigate global warming and avoid climate change impact. Tom is retired from Shell Oil and has been involved with The Joint Industry Task Force formed a Drafting Committee to the Carbon Capture and Geological Storage Emission Reduction Project Family.
